Polypropylene (BOPP), Direct Thermal Poly, and specialty adhesives
Most high-value commercial label applications do not need circuit-board soldering—they need tear-resistant synthetic film or a specialty pressure-sensitive adhesive that solves an immediate plant-floor failure. We pair these synthetic and paper face stocks with application-specific adhesives: aggressive freezer-grade and all-temp tack (-20°F application down to -65°F blast-freezer storage) for cold-chain cartons, or clean-peel removable acrylics (B-91 and RE-10 easy-peel grades) that strip cleanly off reusable totes and finished retail tools without leaving residue.
Polyonics Polyimide (PI) for PCB manufacturing
For printed circuit board (PCB) serialization and surface-mount technology (SMT) lines, conventional paper and polyester labels shrink, yellow, or delaminate. Polyonics Apex series polyimide films are engineered specifically for multi-cycle lead-free PCB manufacturing.
Available in 1 mil and 2 mil gauges with high-opacity white or matte topcoats, polyimide labels maintain crisp 2D DataMatrix and QR barcode contrast through 572°F (300°C) reflow ovens, wave soldering, and aggressive saponifier or flux chemical washes.
ESD-Safe and static-dissipative control
Peeling a standard pressure-sensitive label from its liner can generate thousands of volts of triboelectric static charge—enough to cause immediate or latent failure in CMOS, MOSFET, and fine-pitch semiconductor assemblies.
Our custom ESD-safe polyimide and polyester labels combine low-charging acrylic or silicone adhesives with static-dissipative topcoats (surface resistivity 10⁴ to 10¹¹ ohms/sq). They strip cleanly from the liner without tribocharging and safely bleed off residual static on your assembly line.
Halogen-free flame retardant films
In EV battery packs, aerospace wire harnesses, server power supplies, and high-voltage switchgear, every component must resist ignition. Flame retardant label materials are formulated to form a self-extinguishing char layer when exposed to extreme heat or electrical arcing.
This char barrier slows heat transfer to the substrate and suppresses flammable outgassing. We convert modern halogen-free flame retardant PET and PI stocks that satisfy UL94 VTM-0, FAR 25.853, and REACH/RoHS environmental directives without releasing toxic halogens.
