Wax ribbon use cases
Wax is the workhorse grade for corrugated shipping labels and general paper face stock. If labels see abrasion, chemicals, or outdoor exposure, step up to wax/resin or resin.
Wax ribbons melt at lower printhead temperatures than resin grades, extending the life of your thermal printhead and running reliably at high print speeds up to 10 to 12 inches per second on standard industrial barcode lines.
